The school was planned to be built in 2 phases.

The idea was to build each block/group of classrooms around courts to allow openness in plan, light and cross-ventilation.

In the phase 1, block 1 , the following are the design elements: 

•  The classrooms form a U-shape facing east , so the classrooms receive ample sunlight throughout the day. And also helps in blocking the western sun.

• The courtyards that are enclosed by these rooms act as activity pockets and informal spill over space for the group of  classrooms.

• The main corridor acts as a spine connecting all the blocks and creates curiosity by opening up to small courts to its left or leads to smaller corridors that open to a bigger court to its right.
